Amorphophallus Excentricus - Unique Plants

A medium sized species which produces a graceful, umbrella-shaped leaf growing to about 1m high. The petiole is richly decorated in cream and dark green patterns and makes a fine specimen plant even when not in bloom. The leaf remains above ground through spring and into Autumn when it dies back to the tuber.

The leaf will re-emerge the following Spring. When the tuber is large enough, it will produce the amazing blooms pictured. Originating in Thailand, this is a hardy and easy to grow species.

Some species of Amorphophallus have offsets attached to it. In nature these detach to grow new plants. The offsets may detach or break in the mail, this is normal. Plant them in spring to grow new plants!
